By means of microorganisms we biodegrade by-products of the PET depolymerization process of the petrochemical industry into monomers, with which we then biosynthesize PHA resin. This resin is a very versatile biopolyester, which functions as a biotechnological, biodegradable and biocompatible platform for the manufacture of a large number of derived products such as: biodegradable coatings and paints, biodegradable adhesives, packaging and disposable products, filaments for 3D printers, among others.
