With only a few exceptions, the process involved in recycling plastic waste has made economic viability simply unattainable... until now. At Refinity, we plan to commercialize a game-changing technology that converts minimally-sorted mixed plastic waste into drop-in, raw material feedstocks... at yield levels expected to not only enable broad economic viability, but also allow global scalability and true circularity. We have access to patented Fluidized Bed Process Technology that converts mixed plastic waste to hydrocarbon liquids and gases depending on the operating conditions selected. The process is proven at bench and pilot scales and operates at moderate temperatures and very short residence times. Waste plastics are uniformly and rapidly heated, allowing high yield of plastic waste to desired drop-in chemical products.
