Before you submit your startup, it is important to know the selection criteria that we use to review all submissions.

General Selection Criteria:

• The startup must be legally constituted as a commercial entity (SAS, SARL, or other depending on the country) and comply with local and international laws (tax, labor law, intellectual property, etc.).
• The startup must have reached a stage beyond the idea, with at least one prototype or minimum viable product, and must have been created less than 10 years ago (exceptions are possible for significant innovations).
• The startup must demonstrate a proprietary innovation or technology (patents, know-how, etc.) and the proposed solution must represent a paradigm shift or significant improvement in its sector.
• The startup must have a distinct positioning in relation to competitors, with a clear and differentiated value proposition.

Specific Selection Criteria (focused on sustainability):

• The startup's core mission must aim to have a direct or indirect impact on environmental sustainability (reduction of carbon emissions, waste management, energy efficiency, etc.).
• The startup must correspond to one or more of the directory's themes, for example: “Less Carbon,” “More Renewable Energy,” “Less Waste,” etc.
• The startup's approach must involve significant innovation in the field of sustainability, whether through technology, process or business model.
